Synopsis

It was 10 years ago this month that a popular yoga teacher in B.C. went skiing. Mary-Jo Fetterly crashed that day. She broke her neck and became quadriplegic. In a split-second, everything changed. Mary-Jo believes the words of the great yoga sage, Krishnamacharya, saved her life.

The words are: “If you can breathe, you can do yoga.”

Broadcaster Pamela Post’s documentary, “If You Can Breathe,” tells the story of the resilient Mary-Jo Fetterly.

Synopsis

Mary-Jo is a long time Yogi who had a life changing skiing accident in 2004 that left her paralyzed from the neck down. Miraculously, she survived and was diagnosed with the worst possible spinal cord injury. Through daily pranayama practice, visualization, and holistic therapies she has gained emotional & physical strength and recovered movement.
